eCourse - Age diversity in the workplace
Research has shown that mature age workers often experience discrimination in relation to recruitment and employment in the South Australian workforce. This includes age-based bullying, lack of promotion and training, lack of access to flexible work arrangements and pressure to retire.
The Equal Opportunity Commission, in partnership with SafeWork SA, have produced a free online eCourse that anyone can use that highlights some common issues and ways to deal with them. The course was developed by the Equal Opportunity Commission and SafeWork SA as part of the Age Matters project.
