National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence - 20 March 2015

Today is the fifth National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.  This annual day provides a focus for all schools to say Bullying. No Way! and to strengthen their existing everyday messages that bullying and violence at school are not okay at any time.

The Equal Opportunity Commission regularly hears from parents and students themselves about discrimination issues at school.  This might involve someone being treated differently because of a disability, their race, their gender identity, or their sexuality.  To find out more about human rights and discrimination, and resources that can help people experiencing issues at school, you can visit the EO 4 Schools website at www.eo4schools.net.au.
