Often in a workplace there are interpersonal problems between staff which can be considered discrimination, harassment or victimisation. It is best that any complaints of discrimination or harassment  are resolved quickly and internally before the problem escalates.

The best way for to ensure consistent, fair complaint handling is to have a good complaint procedure. To be effective, a complaint procedure needs to be user-friendly and trustworthy. It can offer staff both informal and formal ways of resolving complaints.
