Our training programs

The EOC has published it's training program for the 1st half of the 2021 year, courses are scheduled to take place at the EOC's training rooms Level 15, 10 Franklin Street Adelaide, but may change as a result the current COVID 19 restrictions that are in place at the time.

Updates on our training courses will be posted on this page and enrolees will be notified by a team member ASAP to inform them of alternative arrangements for the delivery of the course they are enrolled in.

Training

Whether your business is big or small, the laws says you must take reasonable steps to prevent discrimination and harassment. Educating your workforce on discrimination and harassment is a good start.

Our training and education programs are designed to provide participants with information regarding best practice in the area of creating an equitable workplace free of potential discrimination, bullying harassment and victimisation.

We offer both in-house training and training at your workplace in Adelaide and across the state.

Our in-house courses cover topics such as:

  • Contact Person: role and responsibilities;
  • Contact Person: refresher
  • Prevention of inappropriate workplace behaviour (conflict bullying, discrimination and harassment) (for the individual or workforce);
  • Managers - Preventing and resolving inappropriate workplace behaviour (conflict bullying, discrimination and harassment);

Customised Training – on site at your workplace

Our training referral program will recommence in February 2021.

EOC Training Referral Program - supporting you to achieve your equal opportunity and diversity and inclusion outcomes

We understand that every organisation/workplace is different, so to support you to achieve your outcomes, the EOC has partnered with South Australian training providers to expand and complement existing training courses. Together we have the capacity and the extensive experience to support you to implement initiatives, training or workshops on site at your workplace.

Our training partners provide customised training to meet the individual needs of your organisation/workplace and offer programs on:

  • Contact Person: role and responsibilities;
  • Contact Person: refresher
  • Prevention of inappropriate workplace behaviour (conflict bullying, discrimination and harassment) (for the individual or workforce);
  • Managers - Preventing and resolving inappropriate workplace behaviour (conflict bullying, discrimination and harassment);
  • Preventing and managing sexual harassment in the workplace (for managers, individuals or workforce);
  • Bystander awareness;
  • Unconscious bias; and
  • Diversity and inclusion – leadership
